About the Artist
Ms. Reimer started
her career as a medical illustrator working at the University of
California and as the illustrator for the book, Our Bodies,
Ourselves (Simon & Schuster.) Her knowledge of anatomy brings
reality to her own work and is incorporated into her workshop
teaching. A degree in health education, Reiki training and her
natural intuitive gifts enhance her ability as a healing artist and
teacher. Her
recent book,
Artist as Healer, Stories of Transformation and Healing™ is a combination of her own self-discovery of the
power of creativity and a collection of case histories of those
whose lives she has touched through her art. Ms. Reimer has been
teaching doll-making as a healing art for many years. Her workshops
include training and practice of higher consciousness/soul
meditation for healing, transcending loss and grief, unlocking
emotions that block creative energy and redefining one’s path
through the use of the creative element. Ms. Reimer is available for
workshops and speaking engagements.
